Since 2007, FireChoir has united voices from many countries, cities, cultures, and backgrounds. They’ve been electrifying audiences with powerful performances that fill the room with energy and stir the soul. Their reputation for quality and sheer vocal force has landed them on major stages like the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam Westerkerk, and Zaantheater, and put them alongside celebrated artists from the Netherlands to Hollywood. They don’t just sing gospel—they breathe life into words that touch the soul.

- Anyone can join regardless of beliefs, ethnicity or musical experience.
- People ages 15 and up (younger ages considered on an individual basis).
- No previous choir experience required (ability to read music not necessary).
- We audition for voice placement and to make sure each new member can sing on pitch.
- Guests are welcome to visit a rehearsal before committing to join.
FireChoir meets in the Keerpunt building, located in the Buitenveldert area of Amsterdam.
It is within walking distance from the metro, bus and train; plenty of free parking available.

- FireChoir has two performance seasons per year: Spring and Fall
Each season lasts approximately 12-14 weeks with concert performance(s) at the end. - Rehearsals are on Thursday nights from 19:30-21:30.
- Registration closes after the third week of the season.
- Coffee and cookies social time: 19:00-19:30. Choir starts rehearsing at 19:30. At 20:30 we pause for a coffee break. When the coffee break is finished, we resume rehearsal until 21:30.
Price: €50 (pre-registration online by the 1st rehearsal.)
Walk-in price: €60 (without pre-registration)
Payment is due by the 3rd rehearsal. You can pre-register and try a rehearsal first before payment is required. We accept payment by Bank Transfer to Stichting Allegro Arts Network NL80ABNA0503107565, indicating ‘FireChoir’ or pay in cash at rehearsal.
